Dr. McClendon is our Lead Veterinarian and a proud Louisiana native, raised in St. Francisville.
She earned her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2020 and has been dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care ever since.
Dr. McClendon has a special interest in dentistry, preventative wellness, and soft tissue surgery. She is passionate about helping pets live longer, healthier lives and believes that strong relationships with both patients and their humans are at the heart of great veterinary care. She loves collaborating with pet parents to come up with a plan tailored to the needs of each pet in each family.
At home, Dr. McClendon stays busy with her golden retriever, Hadley, her husband, Connor, and her gray tabby cat, Oliver. She likes to travel, read, and see Broadway musicals. Thanks to Oliver—who keeps things interesting with his ongoing list of medical quirks—Dr. McClendon has acquired extensive extra-curricular training in feline medicine and behavior.
